State College Man Inspired Joe Dirt
STATE COLLEGE, PA-- David Spade, perhaps best known for his roles on Saturday Night Live and his movies with Chris Farley is starring in a new movie entitled Joe Dirt, which opened in theaters nationwide this past weekend.

Spade plays Joe Dirt, the lead character in the movie, an idiot who works as an oil weller and is searching for his parents, who abandoned him when he was a baby at the grand canyon.

Spade got the inspiration for his new movie after meeting Buddy “Bud” Lancaster of State College, PA during a visit to the backwater town last summer. Read more...
