When Streaking Goes Bad: A Three-Part Look at the Mifflin Streak Riot
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-- Penn State is full of many traditions: partying, drinking, choking football teams with bad quarterbacks, protests, drinking, THON, Movin’ On, drinking, and of course the recent Mifflin Streak. Unfortunately, the usually peaceful gathering turned violent this past weekend.

Jewish Studies Dropped To Fund African-American Programs
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-– In a move to placate the many angry students who have taken residence in the HUB building, administrators have agreed to add more African-American studies programs. Penn State Students Begin Fundraising Effort
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-– Less than a week after the Pennsylvania House of Representatives passed an amendment to cut the university’s appropriation, a group of Penn State students have begun an independent fund-raising program. The project, started by free speech advocate Anne Phillips, has a very specific goal: to raise twice the amount of money that Rep. Anti-Hate Rally Shows Surprisingly Large Amount of Hate
UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-- In an effort to diffuse a racially stressed environment, the Penn State administration hosted an anti-hate rally. Tensions have mounted in recent weeks with reports of racism prominently displayed in The Daily Collegian. The event planned for community members to gather and celebrate the values of tolerance and kindness. However, planners did not anticipate the large amount of hatred present. Read more...
