Matt Senneca Demoted to Second String Nittany Notetaker
By Toasty McGuigan
STATE COLLEGE, PA-- The State Stump has learned that Nittany Notes, the beloved note providing
institution for Penn State students, has recently demoted employee Matt
Senneca to second string notetaker.

Football related distractions may have led to Senneca's ultimate failure as a notetaker. |
Senneca started the semester as primary notetaker for CSE 402 and HIST 395,
but soon fell out of favor with Nittany Notes president William Tufts, who
was forced to demote Senneca halfway through the semester.
Tufts stated that Senneca was shoddy at times, but brilliant at others.
"Sometimes, I'd look at his notes and say 'This is pure genius.' Other
times, I couldn't even understand what the hell he was writing. One time, he
wrote the entire lecture in Pig Latin, except he did his own version of it.
For example, instead of doing lass-cay for class, he'd write
lass-FuckZackMillsAy. The entire lecture was like that; a couple of times
Mills was underlined in blood...oh, and there were frowny faces in all of
the Os. Then there was the time he didn't turn in notes at all for the day,
just a six page essay on how students were told to stop booing by the Senate
Faculty, how could he possibly play well in such a rebellious environment?
Replacing him was a pretty easy choice to make, actually."
Tufts also revealed Senneca's replacement, sophomore Chris Oakes. "To be
honest, Senneca might have gotten it done in CSE 101 or some lower level
course, but this is the big leagues," said Tufts. "Oakes' cursive and print
is much tighter and more clearly defined than Senneca's, especially his
vowels, which is a huge plus. I hated to pull Matt when I told him the job
was his and let him work into the semester for a while, but with finals
coming up, we just needed someone who could get the job done."
Finally, Tufts added that it's a possibility that Senneca may go back to his
natural high school position of note margins filler.
