UNIVERSITY PARK, PA-- Without much pomp and circumstance but with joy in her heart, freshman Rajah Ingandi (Freshman DUS) added the 100th buddy, PSUStud69, to her buddy list Friday night according to online friend Debbie, AKA, MuchasGracias20.

Rajah Ingandi stares into the computer screen which has given her life so much yet so little meaning during the past six months.

             Ingandi, has been on AOL IM for upwards of fourteen hours a day since moving into East Halls in the beginning of fall semester. A self confessed hardcore AOL addict, Ingandi has yet to make any real world friends since her arrival at PSU, but has had a blast spending countless hours on AOL IM.

             "Who needs them so called real world friends?" Ingandi asked. "I was talking to BubbleBoy21 from Austin Texas last night, man that guy is so deep, you should see his use of emoticons."

             Academically, Ingandi has been struggling as she managed only a 1.4 GPA last semester, missing most of her classes to stay online to talk with her online friends from Hungary and Romania who are only able to access the computer in the afternoon hours.

January 6, 2001 will be a night Rajah Ingandi remembers for a while as she types to forty-one people simultaneously.

             In December after a 30 hour AOL IM bender Ingandi claimed that she was "giving up this dope", but was online the following morning discussing a tax cut with GoreForPrez for three hours.

             "Last Saturday, I was talking to six guys and four girls at one time," Ingandi typed to State Stump reporter Stumpie07 on AOL, "What a night, almost orgasmic!"
